About Wúrà
Our Story
Wúrà is the Yoruba word for gold. It’s also the standard.
Tomi Adewuyi grew up between two worlds — Nigerian heritage and Texas roots — and built something that honors both. Wúrà started in college, not as a business plan, but as a necessity. A way to move through the world on his own terms and invite others to do the same.
What started in Dallas has grown into something larger than clothing. A community of people who show up — to the events, to each other, to themselves.
Our Philosophy
We make clothes for people who don’t need to be loud about who they are. The quality speaks. The fit speaks. The name speaks — to those who know.
Wúrà exists at the intersection of heritage and elevation. Every piece is made with the belief that what you wear should reflect who you’re becoming, not just where you’ve been.
Gold isn’t given. It’s earned. Welcome.
